HOW WE WORK

Once you’ve decided what type of childcare you’re looking for you need to register with Nanny & Butler by filling out our client registration form. This will submit our T&Cs and your information will be carefully reviewed by a member of our staff who will then contact you directly to discuss all your specific requirements.

  • UNDERSTANDING YOUR NEEDS
    Nanny & Butler carefully listed to your requirements, then will assess each family’s needs and the environment in which their nanny will function. Due to our experience we also advise on scheduling and help define the candidate’s role within the family.
  • MATCHING CANDIDATES & FAMILIES
    Nanny & Butler does a specific search and selection to find appropriate candidates who match the family’s requirements. We always do reference and documentation check, CRB check and health check to all our candidates. We will share our interview notes with you so you can better understand the quality & personality of each candidate we introduce. You need to let us know which candidates you would like to interview yourself.
  • INTERVIEWING CANDIDATES
    You can interview our candidates either over the phone, via Skype or in person. We help set up these interviews (via Skype, over the phone or in person), can offer selection of interview questions and review the impressions of both family and candidates. Childcare reference and documentation check can also be carried out on client’s request, however most clients prefer to speak to the referees themselves. We help with travel arrangements to and from the interview and customized contracts.
  • CONTRACT
    When a family feels comfortable with a candidate and decides to offer her/him the job, we can help draft a job offer/work agreement to make sure no key consideration has been overlooked. Once the candidate has accepted the offer, she/he is directly employed by the family.
  • FOLLOW UP
    This final step is very important and makes our approach unique. After placement of our candidate, we contact both family and our candidate to assess the working relationship. We offer post-placement support so whatever your concerns, we will be always here to help you. We also introduce our nannies to others in her area, creating support groups where they can meet other nannies.
