CARETAKER
A Caretaker, Site Manager, or Janitor takes care of the security and maintenance of buildings, estates, swimming pools, etc. Their duties include cleaning, performing simple repairs, maintenance tasks and performing security checks for the buildings in their care. Caretakers need to have good customer service skills, the ability to remain calm in stressful situations, knowledge of public safety and security, and a desire to help people.
At Nanny & Butler we also provide Private Island Caretakers who are in charge of the maintenance of one or more buildings within the island. Key responsibilities might also include exploring the islands of the Barrier Reef. Usually this role comes with a six-month contract.
Salary
Starting salaries are £ GBP 500/550 net per week or more, in accordance with qualifications/experience.
The average caretaker salary in the USA is $ 60,000/80,000+ per year.
Private Islands Caretakers can earn up to $ 120,000/130,000 per year.
