A gardener is responsible for the maintenance of the grounds of an estate, notably green and flowered areas. He must ensure that all gardens, lawns, flowerbeds, flowers, greenhouses, vegetable plots, trees, shrubs and bushes are healthy and well-tended to. He will also oversee and manage the ordering of supplies and equipment necessary for the upkeep of the property grounds.

The salary for a Gardener goes from 25k to 40k+ gross a year, depending on the experience and qualifications. The salary for a Head Gardener ranges from 35k to 50k+ gross a year, depending on the experience and qualifications.
